Guardia 2035 is a practical civic plan to make the historic center safer, more useful, more active, and more economically connected. It does not propose restoring everything. It proposes deciding what can be saved, reused, opened, stabilized, funded, or tested — with local benefit first.
What makes this different

This project includes documents, funding pathways, property classification, access strategy, workforce strategy, public-space strategy, local business activation, events, maintenance, and implementation steps. The goal is not to dream about the center, but to decide what can realistically happen.
A practical plan, not nostalgia
The historic center has real problems. That is why the plan starts there.
Some residents see the center as too damaged, inconvenient, or expensive to matter. Guardia 2035 takes that concern seriously. The goal is not to restore everything or ignore daily needs, but to reduce hazards, improve access, reuse selected spaces, support local businesses, and prove value through visible first steps.

The name sets a practical horizon: by 2035, the historic center should be cleaner, more accessible, more lived-in, better maintained, and supported by local work, culture, events, services, and restored property. It gives residents, owners, returners, public partners, and funders a shared date for visible results instead of another open-ended discussion.
